I just noticed this while I was replying to the What's Goin on Through Your Speaker topic.

Why doesn't embed and div allowed as html tags?

This is not a complaint or anything, but merely a question. Some forum I know flat out refuse to allow the embed tags because they feel that a page loads slower if there's an embedded content, so I'm wondering if DarkCosmos feel the same.

Embed tags, imo, is a good tag seeing as you can watch Youtube directly from the page without opening another tab/window. Embedding a streaming content such as mp3 (which I was planning to) is also possible with embed tags so you don't have to download the mp3 to your PC.

It's actually a very good question.

Informe does not normally allow HTML as a default. Rather, the Admin CP allows the admin to manually add what codes are allowed to be used or not. The big drawback is if you don't know the codes, no one gets to use them. And it's a real pain to add them all when there should just be an 'on' switch.

I'll add the 'embed' and 'div' tags, along with any other tags you might find useful. (Post them in the topic.) (I just added the normal like center, s, b, and so on, because that's all I knew of...)

When I made this topic, I only have those two tags in mind. But of course, if I come across a tag that I feel will be useful, I'll note it here.
